» The Campus

The college is situated near Israna, about 14 Kms from Panipat on Panipat-Rohtak Highway (NH-71A). The lush green outlets provide a pollution-free environment of learning. The campus has a well-planned building having Lecture Halls, Seminar Halls, Lab facilities in all the departments along with lawns and shaded avenues at places. It also has facilities for indoor and outdoor sports including gymnasium. The campus has been carefully planned and adorned with impressive buildings, gardens, lawns and shaded avenues along with a temple near the entrance gate.

» Classrooms

All the classrooms are equipped with adequate furniture & ventilation facilities. The college is equipped with all basic and Ultra Modern teaching aids like LCD projector, VCD player and OHP available for use. These are used frequently by almost the entire faculty in order to make the classroom learning joyous and effective.

» Seminar Halls

The ultra modern Seminar Halls are having a seating capacity of more than 200. They are primarily used for conducting seminars, EDPs & Workshops at college level.

The state-of-art Audio-Visual aids and quality of sound used have made these areas to be perfect for use in several National level Conferences and Seminars

» Bio-Technology Lab Facilities

High-tech laboratories, fully equipped with the latest scientific testing devices have been provided in the Department of Biotechnology. The labs have been maintained fordoing research& analysis in the areas of soil & water analysis (Physical, chemical and biological parameters), Microbiological Research, Bio-chemical Research, Tissue culture development, food testing and Bio-Informatics etc.

Laboratories are well ventilated, spacious and best equipped in respect of all the instruments, glassware, chemicals and bio-chemicals required for the class experiments as well as research work and quality teaching. All Biotechnological experiments according to the K.U.K. syllabus are done. We comply with standards to conduct any type of research and development in Biotechnology.

» Computer Labs

All the State-of-art computer laboratories are equipped with latest Pentium-IV Computer terminals equipped with variety of Operational & quality Teaching Software like Microsoft Office. The teaching tools can be used for preparing the best of teaching materials. LAN Structured Cable Networking is used to share the available resources & communicate with other computers.

» Chemistry & Physics Labs

These labs have been provided with all essential requisites of imparting practical training of Science subjects to the budding engineers. A sound base of Chemistry and Physics is a must for being a quality engineer.

» Mechanical Workshop

The workshop caters the need of training of the students in the basic workshop trades .It also provides advance training on production technology and process. It is equipped with all machines as well as a CNC Lathe trainer. The students also find an opportunity to work on packages like Pro-engineer & AUTO CAD. The students also go for research and development in the area of mechanical engineering and related areas with work on different projects.

» Library & Digital Library

Central Library of N.C. College of Engineering had started in 1998 has occupied 1400 sq. meters covered area Central Library has its four Branch Library in the form of Departmental Libraries e.g. Departmental Library of Mechanical Engineering, Departments library of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department library of Computer Science Engineering, Department library of MBA

The Library has a rich collection of more than 25,000 books on science and technology including Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Electronics engineering, Biochemical and Biotechnology, Mechanical Engineering, Computers Engineering and management. Besides this Library also has a good collection in the areas of humanities and social sciences. There is a collection of general books in the reference section. They comprise of books on personality development, literature and communication skills development etc.

There is facility of book bank for deserving students also. The library has subscribed to various current journals including online journals on various subjects of technology and management. There has been following categorization of the books and other material available in the library:

Central Library is a fully automated library LIBSOFT software version 505 has implemented for Library Automation, which is working smoothly in the areas of Acquisition, Circulation, Classification Cataloguing, Stock Taking and Serial Control etc.

Central Library provides different kind services which are as:

Reprography

Central Library provides Internet services to its users. To fulfill this facility Library has three photocopier machine namely FT-4327, FT-5422, and Digital (FT-1822)

Internet Access

Library also provides Internet Services to its users. There are 14 Computers in the Library which have Internet connection for the users there is also the facility of printout of download data for Library users.

Air Conditioning

Faculty Reading Hall of Library is Fully air Conditioned. Rest of the library is also proposed for air conditioning.

Inter Library Loan

Our Library also offered the Inter Library Loan Services. In this, we help the students of nearby Engineering Colleges by providing them the required Books and Information, through proper channel. Our students are helped to search and get the rare books from other Libraries using this facility.

MEMBERS

Around 2050 Including Teaching Staff, non/teaching staff and 1820 Students have taken the library Membership.

» Sports Facilities

There is the facility of various sports like Football, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Cricket, Tennis, Badminton, and Hockey etc. In addition to above, indoors facilities including Table Tennis, Carom Board, Gymnasium and other games are available in the respective hostels. Games facilities are also available for Boys and Girls in the shopping complex.
