M.TECH. (Electronics)

M.Tech.(Electronics) | M.B.A. | M.C.A. | B.Tech.

The M. Tech program in electronics and communication engg aims at making professionals in the area. The requirement of electronics engineers is a must in this era of computerization and globalization.

Our M. Tech program in the Electronics and Communication Engineering started from the first semester of 2004-05 with sanctioned intake of 18 students. The program is of two years duration. The program will offer advanced courses in VLSI Design & Engineering, Embedded Systems, Advanced Communication Technologies, Digital Signal Processing, etc. It will be heavily oriented towards the needs of the industry and will have a very large component of research projects and laboratory work. The students also have to do ten courses, three labs. and a project to complete the program.

 Departmental Laboratories
» VHDL /DSP
Lab We have more than 20 computer systems loaded with MATLAB and VHDL software. It is used for experiments on digital signal processing and VHDL in two semesters

» Basic Electronics-I & II
These labs have all the equipment, instruments, ICs and all other components to perform experiments based on both analog electronics and digital electronics

» Design Lab
This lab is used to teach the students about electronics circuit design. They are assigned problems to meet certain specifications. Design after completion is implemented on breadboard and analyzed to verify specifications.
