The degree programme in Computer Science has been designed to enable growth and learning in a highly focused and application-based environment. This is achieved through a combination of formal lectures and hands-on experience in well-equipped laboratories and through project activity.  The 4-year Degree Programme caters to the growing need for exceptionally trained people in India and abroad. 

However, for producing highly skilled professionals in the area of Computer Science, we are working on the requirements of the Industry.  Our working methodology ensures research and development in this area to improve the skills of the persons


Computer education is a challenging task, which requires varied resources and adaptability to ever changing technology. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is capable of imparting the Engineering students with a high caliber of technical expertise. It delivers quality education to students and provides latest facilities in consonance with the rapidly changing scenario of technology.

It continues to foster the innovation spirits amongst the students. The experienced as well as young faculty gives exposure not only to regular engineering curriculum but also encourages them to keep in touch with the latest development in technology. The visionary zeal of faculty has today borne richer and finer fruits and in the process achieved the impossible.

The Department not only provides theoretical knowledge but also gives a lot of stress on training and overall department of individual’s personality by arranging the technical symposiums and by encouraging the students to join various technical forums. The Institute has excellent record of assuring confirmed jobs in prestigious industrial organizations.

The Department is giving a great deal of emphasis for strengthening the Industry Institute-interaction in order to inculcate professional attitude in students as well as interaction with other educational institution.

The Department has six laboratories with a floor area of 1000 square feet. These labs include Pentium based computer systems, scanners, printers.

Application Programming Laboratory:

Application Programming Laboratory is being used for practical courses on C, C++, COBOL, S/E and Data structures. The Laboratory has recently upgraded with 20 latest states of art Pentium IV machines. The Laboratory provides working experience in Windows 98 and Windows NT environment.

 

  


Internet and Web Technology Laboratory:

Internet and Web Technology Laboratory  serves for practical courses in Server side  Programming, HTML, JAVA SCRIPT.

This Laboratory has internet connection through a dedicated Satellite link. This Laboratory is equipped with 20 Pentium III processor machines. Also the Laboratory is with a       server and range of network equipment which includes    switches,     hubs. The lab provides working experience in Windows 98 and Windows NT,UNIX environment

 

DataBase Design & Programming  Laboratory:

This Laboratory serves for practicalcourses in DATABASE DESIGNING. This lab is equipped with 20 Pentium 4 processor  machines. The lab provides working experience in Windows 98 and Windows NT environment







 Graphics Laboratory:

Graphics Laboratory serves for performing the practical courses in Image Animations, ComputerGraphics, System Software This lab is beingequipped with 20 Pentium IV based machines.

 The lab provides working experience in Windows 98 and Windows NT environment.

 

 

Networking  & Hardware Laboratory:

Networking  & Hardware Laboratory serves forPractical courses in Server SideProgramming,Java & JSP.This Lab is used for performing the practi cal courses in Algorithms and Computer Networks.It also  provides on and exposure to computer hardware&interfacing.This lab is being equipped with20 Pentium III based machines. The lab provides working experience in Win98

Round the clock Internet access is available through a dedicated Satellite link. To enhance the skills the students and faculty members regularly receive updates in hardware and software through frequent guest lectures and presentations.
