B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch/ Diploma in Engg. trades for the session 2007-08.
Govt. has decided to reserve
one seat in each course in every institute for admission of toppers (having
minimum 2nd division) of Govt. Sr. Sec. Schools offering Science stream
(having more than 5 students in the Science stream) located in the Haryana
in 1st semester B.E./ B.Tech and toppers of Govt. High Schools of Haryana
in 1st semester Diploma in Engg. trades.
Applications from all eligible
& desirous candidates are invited upto 5 PM on 5.7.2007 for the session
2007-08.
The counseling will be held in the Examination Hall of Lajpat Rai Bhawan,
Sector 15-B, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh (U.T.) at 10.00 A.M
daily as per counseling schedule as under:

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Important:
i) Eligibility shall be seen on the day of counseling i.e.
a candidate may not be eligible on the 1st day of counseling but may be
eligible on subsequent days of counseling due to what- so-ever reasons.
He/she shall be considered for counseling on the day he/she proves his
eligibility.
ii) Candidates appeared/ appearing in the qualifying exam
is eligible for appearing in the entrance test but he/she shall be
considered for counseling only if he/she fulfills the minimum eligibility
criteria.
iii) The eligibility in column 3 is the minimum
requirement. The institutions opting for requirement of higher marks than
the minimum prescribed shall be allowed to do so

the case may be, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (minimum pass
marks in case of SC/ST candidates)
OR
Pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant
of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of
Company Secretaries of India.
However in case of CRSCE, Murthal, 1st class (60% marks
if division is not mentioned) in:B.Tech/BE/AMIE

MCA/M.Sc(IT) M.Sc. (Computer Sc.)Or M.Sc.
(Physics/Mathematics/Statistics/Economics)
Or
MA (Economics/Psychology/Mathematics) and M.Com. The candidate must have

|
Candidates must have passed Diploma in
Engineering/Technology course of a duration of three years or more from
Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent with at least 60%
marks in the aggregate of all semesters in anyone of the branches
mentioned at Appendix-II.
Note: Candidates with diploma in Architecture are eligible to
seek admission under Lateral Entry programme only for B.E./B.Tech. Civil
Engg.
Candidates with any other recognized diploma of three years in any branch
of Engg./Technology awarded by the institution/University/State Board of
Technical Education approved by AICTE would also be eligible provided
he/she has obtained 60% marks in the aggregate in all semesters as per
MHRD’s instructions, the diploma of two years duration after 10+2 would
be considered equivalent to diploma of three years duration for the purpose
of admission under lateral entry scheme provided candidate obtains 60%
marks in the aggregate of all semesters. Similarly, the candidates
possessing diploma with at least 60% marks in the aggregate of all
semesters after certificate awarded by Sant Longowal Institute of
Engineering & Technology are eligible to appear in LEET-2006.

Important Procedural Changes for Admission to other
programmes in the Session 2006-07
|
|
1. Govt. of Haryana has decided not to conduct state
entrance tests for making admissions for B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. and MBA.
The admissions to these courses shall be based on the merit of AIEEE and
MAT respectively. State tests for admission to MCA, B.Pharm., BHM&CT,
LEET and Diploma level courses shall, however, be conducted by State
Counseling Board, Haryana.
2. Admissions to all technical courses shall be made through Online Off
Campus counseling.
3. Separate Information brochure for UG and PG level courses shall be
made available on the website only in due course of time. However,
Information Brochure for diploma level courses shall be available only in
the shape of booklet from designated places.
4. The registration fee for counseling for UG/PG level
courses is Rs. 300/- only and shall be deposited by the candidate through
cash / by any other means in the designated branches of designated bank*.
5. Reservation policy and fee structure shall be in accordance with the
judgement-dated 12.08.2005 of Hon’ble Supreme Court in PA Inamdar case
and 93 rd amendment in the Constitution of India.
6. For the guidance of students rank wise admission status of year 2005-
06 is available on www.techeduhry.nic.in, the link on
home page.
7. The figures and data have been updated as on 20.04.2006. Further
updation shall be regularly done from time to time.

*Candidates

case of BE/B.Tech./B. Arch courses, candidates who have appeared in
AIEEE from outside Haryana but are residents of Haryana by virtue of
Govt. of Haryana notification for Haryana
residents,
should fill-up their AIEEE National Rank & other particulars. They
shall be allotted State Rank of Haryana on the basis of their National
Rank.

4.
Desirous candidates can avail first hand training for online counseling
& Registration in any nearby participating institution after
18.6.2006.

5.
One seat is reserved over and above the sanctioned intake in each
institution for Kashmiri migrants for which admission shall be made on
the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Such candidates are
