| The Mission of the Training and Placement Department
is four fold. |
(i) Practical Training of students
completing 4th and 6th semesters during Summer Vacations.
(ii) Training of Trainers (teaching and non-teaching
staff and helpers)
(iii) Arranging Placement of the student’s
entering find year.
(iv) Maintaining and developing the Alumni association
of old/students. |

| » Practical
Training |
| The College works throughout the year for arranging
training for its various programmes offered to students. The college
sends letters to various industries and related organizations where
we have our contacts requesting them to provide seats for training
of students during summer vacations |

| » Placements |
To improve the chance of selection of the students who
take the tests, we organize orientation/training/lecture is to be
delivered on Saturday, except on holidays, in the Campus from 9.30
AM- 11AM. This lecture is generally delivered by the T.P.O. or faculty
arranged by him for this purpose.
To strengthen the Training and Placement activities various Departmental
committees are formed. The Departmental committees shall
monitor summer training of the students of their branch and prepare
Information/Placement Brochures of their respective departments and
also suggest write-ups and presentations for common facilities as
possible. |

| » Faculty
& Staff Training Process |
| Training needs of various Departments and their personnel
are sought from Departments and the trainer of contents of the module,
time duration, venue are identified, considering the availability
of trainee & faculty the program is made, which is incorporated
in the annual plan. Generally such training session are kept on Saturdays
or Semesters Breaks. The lectures are delivered and they are evaluated
by the course coordinator/ T.P.O. and certified by him and the entries
are made in individual Data sheet/training Book of each employee. |

Association |
| The TPO & its departmental committees keep liaison
and suggest rules/regulations. We also look upon for trainings in
the organizations where our alumni have reached at good management
positions. We are hopeful of further improving our placement opportunities,
activities and avenues in the near future while working in association
with our powerful Alumni. |
