Thirty Eight Years of active professional experience in the following capacities:

• Teaching the related courses at Bachelors, Masters and Doctorate level at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur with the state of art information and also the specialized courses for Professional Engineers.

• Guiding research at Ph.D and Master Degree in the different disciplines

• Principal Investigator for a number of Projects sponsored by organizations like Ministry of Surface Transport, the World Bank, Swedish Government, and other national organizations.

• Jointly worked with various Institutes like Swedish Road Research Institute, Australian Road Research Board, University of California at Berkeley, Central Road Research Institute on implementation of various Projects.

• Associated as Consultant with different consultancy organizations on a number of prestigious projects,

• Active Member of a number of National and International committees on Transportation and related areas.

• Developed a number of software related to Public Transport Systems., Traffic Simulation, Transportation Planning etc. as part of research and sponsored projects. Some of these packages have been also used by a number of other organizations.

• Active participation in student activities at IIT Kanpur, being Chairman of Senate Committees, Hostel Warden and Chairman/ Vice Chairman. Council of Wardens etc.
