Academic Monitoring

Mou with Thapar University

The Director of Thapar University and our Director Prof. (Dr.) S.K. Satsangi signed a MoU so that the faculty members from the NC College of Engineering and its sister Institutions could pursue PhD from Thapar University.  This would prove beneficial to all the faculty members who want to pursue higher studies.

It is very desirable to monitor the academic performance of the students and advise them for improvement. There is an active ‘Academic Monitoring Cell' in the college to achieve the above target. This monitoring is done for the attendance and performance of the students in Class Work/Mid-term & End-Semester Examinations, Quizzes, Class and Home Assignments, Lab Assignment etc. Parents/ Guardians are informed about their ward's deficiency in record and advised to take corrective measures.

Why Academic Monitoring?

We feel that the students perform well when let free to find their own potentials. However, there is always a scope for careful supervision and monitoring of their performance according to their caliber. For this, we take care of each and every student using our academic monitoring system. This automated system is capable of calculating performance parameters of the students, produce trend and find useful patterns of their behaviour and performance in academics. It aims at improving the students and let them perform throughout the academic sessions of their degree course.

A total of   229 students of NCCE, 110 of SDITM and 73 of SDITM were eligible to appear for the Written Exam. Out of these 188 students of NCCE, 95 of NCIT and 60 students of NCIT appeared in the test. The company shortlisted 86 students of NCCE, 29 of NCIT and 12 students of SDITM after the Group Discussion.
