Members Joinings ¨Prof. (Dr.) S.K Satsangi, Former Dean (PGS&R), IIT Kharagpur, has joined as New Director/ Principal of the college on 18-08-08. Prof. Dr. B.R Marwah, Former Professor – IIT Kanpur has been appointed as the Executive Director of the college.
Celebrations Teacher’s Day: The College has celebrated teacher’s on 05.09.08 in which Executive director Dr. B. R. Marwah and Director Dr. S. K. Satsangi has addressed the college. Engineer’s Day: The College has celebrated Engineer’s in which Director Dr. S. K. Satsangi has addressed the college. Fresher Party: Final year students of MBA department have organized the fresher party in HOTEL GOLD to welcome the fresher in the campus.
Placement SASKEN Company has organized joint campus in N C College of Engineering, Israna on 15.10.08 to 16.10.08. More than 400 students participated and 3 student from the college are selected in the company. ¨Students of Final year Mechanical Engineering appeared in interview in ISMT, Ghaziabad on 22.10.08 and result is awaited. Organization of AICTE sponsored conference by Department of MCA The department has organized AICTE sponsored conference on the topic “Emerging Trends in the Software engineering” from 05.09.08 to 06.09.08. More than 100 research scholar and people from Educational institute and industry present research paper in the conference. Orientation Day The College has organized Department wise Orientation Day on 21.08.2008 to welcome First Year students. Seminar by Department of MBA The department has organized expert lecture on entrepreneurship and resource person is Mr. Brijesh Yadav, Additional Director, SSI, Karnal Industrial Visits The Mechanical engineering department has organized industrial visit for final year students on 04.11.08 in Jindal Industries, Hissar. The MBA department has organized industrial visit for First & Final year students on 20.09.08 at Parle G Industries, Bahadurgarh. Participation in blood donation camp More than 350 students participated in blood donation camp at S.D. Vidhya Mandir, Panipat. Participation in cultural activities organized by MBA Department Induction of New Courses The departmental student society ‘VISTA’ has organized cultural activities on 03.10.08. More than 150 Students participate in Essay writing competition, Quiz, Poetry, Mimicry, Solo Dance, Group dance on 3rd October, 2008. Participation in cultural activities organized by BIO-Tech Department The department has organized cultural activities in the month of September. Students participate in Essay writing competition, Poster Presentation and Paper presentation. Participation in cultural activities organized by IIT, Roorkee About 15 students have participated in cultural program organized by IIT, Roorkee. Sports Activities The college has organized Cricket tournament in the month of October and final year B. Tech team has won the trophy.
